It should be a great season with all the new riders and bikes, can't wait. I agree that Haga will be inconsistent but should be in the top 4 along with Corser, Checa, and Rea or one of the other Brits. If the Aprilia is good straight away I can see Biaggi up there if like Gaz noted he stops getting knocked off his bike. Spies and Sykes will probably be in the top 7 or so as well if the R1 is as good as they say. We'll probably see some good rides out of Xaus but probably some spectacular crashes as well.

People like Haga, Checa, Kiyonari, Neukirchner are so inconsistent. Unless they change i dont think they will be even in the rekoning . I wouldnt be suprised to see haga start slowly again and them have a strong end to the season. I cant see him going quick from the off . Whereas Shakey is pretty much at his peak knows half the tracks and is a whole lot more consistent. He is my dark horse anyway

James L - I tend to agree with you here , Shakey will be up there i feel and i do think Rea will be too as he knows the tracks from WSS and is super quick on a Superbike.
Be interesting to see how the BMW goes too, i cannot see then entering with anything other than a very competitive motorcycle personally.

Yes, I think he will run up front for sure. Just dunno whether he will have the capability to stay there for the whole race and bring it home. He struggled a bit in Portugal but only experience will improve this.

It is going to be such a competetive series next year that anyone who finishes in the top 10 is going to have done well.
