The green bikes seem to be the end of many a riders career - its incredible how consistently bad they can be.

Glad to see him off that terrible ZX-10. Hopefully he can make some returns to the podium.

i know the kawasaki performance must be a worry to the company in terms of sales?

im not a kwaka fan, just never seem to appeal to me-for some reason. but many people love them for the road. so why are the bikes so bad on the track?

You really want to know why so bad? Vicious power delivery coupled with a (less than perfect anyway...) chassis that can't cope with a less than perfect rear tyre. And while Pirelli make decent fronts for SBK, their rears leave a lot to be desired – ask Troy Corser. That's why the Kawa has done better in non-Pirelli Championships.

Regis is a very hard trier and cosequently he crashes more than is good for him (Ruben Xaus is the same type of rider) however he should do better off that Krapasaki! while there is nothing wrong with the road bikes the racing side in both WSB, WSS and Moto gp is a disgrace, Kawasaki as a company have probably more money than the others but they don't seem to put much effort into racing, lets face it the more money you put in goes a long way towards success, there are other factors as well, such as a good team and riders, Tamada WAS a very good rider on Honda's but after a year in moto gp on dunlop tires and a year on Krapasaki's you could say he needs to do something special this year!

I agree with Brendan- I think it's remarkable how Kawasaki continue to sell bikes.

Whilst 'Win on Sunday, sell on Monday' isn't exactly true, it counts for a lot.

If Yamaha produce an offical Rossi R1 or R6 it'll fly out the shops- they use their race team for maximum promotion.

Honda is known for their build quality, and have Moto GP & SBK to back them.

Suzuki have an established reputation, have the 'fun' bikes and still make the GSXR 750. GSXR cup, anyone? Proves the quality of the motorcycle.

Ducati have ruled race reps since Foggy on the 916, and Aprilia/KTM are the outsiders bet- the less santised option.

What can you say about Team Green? ZX10R? Widow maker!!

Last time they were even in contention for a world title was 1994!

i'm not a kawasaki fan and do find it strange they continue to race with substandard machines...you have got to wonder if it wouldn't do them less harm to pull out altogether, or invest in one series only?
they do seem to to do allright on the motocross scene...
