WSBK » Checa: WSBK has been a great move!

He was finished in Moto gp anyway, I think while he has put in some good rides in wsb and when he wants to he can be very fast and smooth in a lot of his races to me he doesn''t even look like he is trying very hard and not really interested, I wonder if he is treating WSB as a retirement package?

ummm i would not say that he quit motogp, more like he was "given the **** from motogp" might be more correct

Lets not forget that Checa was offered good money to ride a Krapasaki in next years Moto GP and chose not to go

He has been very impressive at times, but seemed to lose his way mid-season. If he gets his mojo back he could be a contender!

all he has got going for him is a spanish passport, oh and is very talented in crashing!

His time had gone in MotoGP but he's done a decent job in WSB, and won the Suzuka 8 Hours let's not forget. He's also - like Alex Barros was when he came over - a decent 'yardstick' with known form to measure the up-and-comers against, as well as putting in the odd vintage performance like those Miller wins.
