This guy is awesome on a 600! already he is talking about the new moto gp class which will replace the 250's, great to see a rider from a country with out much of a racing pedigree going so well, after the terrible year Kenan had on a personal basis in 2008 I hope 2009 treats him better. :)

Got to agree with you Jonesy. He's a sheer talent on a 600 and I was gutted for him that he just didn't get on with the Blade, as well as some unfortunate personal matters during the season. I hope he obliterates his moaning team mate in the coming season.

I'd have to agree with these comments. Kenan is great on a 600. I guess the 1000's are a bit different and some guys just can't make the transition. Foret was another good 600 racer that couldn't do it on a 1000 but back in 600 he's competitive. If Kenan stays healthy it will probably a long season for the rest of the field. When GP250's go 600 it would be great to see Kenan go there and compete with those guys and possibly move up to MotoGP afterwards. A lighter and quicker responding bike like the 800's maybe the right combination for him.

I've just read in MCN that the new MotoGP 2 (600) rules restrict entries to current teams until 2013 so Ten Kate will be able to supply bikes to other teams, but won't be allowed to enter their own team until at least 2013 so if Kenan progresses to that class it won't be with Ten Kate. I am not sure whether his problem with the 1000 was changing his riding style or finding the right setup. if it was the latter he would find it even harder in the new 600 GP and 800 class because the bikes have a bewildering range of setups. The supersport bikes are very limited in setup terms - the Superbikes have a lot more options and the 600/800 GP bikes have virtually unlimited setup options.
