Challenge him on bikes?
Did i read that right?
Challenge Rossi??? Bwahahaha thats the funniest thing i heard for a long time.
Yes hes quick on a bike butnhe is a clever bloke with natural talent.
Rossi would be much closer in a car to schumacher than it would be the other way round.
Stupid German ****

I think Schumacher has a very good time on bikes, even offering to a match-up with Rossi on them.

I wonder if Hamilton would done the same thing, challenging Rossi on either bikes or cars. :)

I suspect MS's tongue was firmly in cheek for that one - stop taking what's written in the press so seriously. He absolutely 100% knows he couldn't beat Rossi on a bike, but I bet he'd like to have some fun trying.

Whim it may be - but let the man have a laugh.

Excellent idea Paul 46!

If Vale wins he gives Schumi an R1 and if Schumi wins he give a Ferrari to Vale. Muhahah! :p

So... Schumacher wants to "challenge" Rossi...

To be honest, after watching the ROC yesteday, Schumacher still looks very lean & in shape & he was quick in all the cars.

having said that i do believe Rossi to be the one with more natural talent & adaptability.

He was under 1sec from Schuy's time in F1 2006, has recently repeated that in an F1 car & has finished 12th in the WRC on arguably the hardest round of the year...

Would make for a very intersting battle... The 2 highest profile figures in motor racing history... it would also be VERY lucrative for the organiser!!!

so dont be surprised if it happens!!

Good old Michael. Still got some fire left in him!

He states he would race Valentino in a "day of champs race" in the cars, but not specific about exactly which cars.

As to the bikes, why don't they BOTH do the historic bike race at Goodwood where they could both get slaughtered by Wayne Gardner. It's as fair a race as they could both compete. They wouldn't lose too much face with a bad performance and I would certainly love to see the result if not the race itself.

I'm with Daniel Hegarty on this, anyone who thinks Schumacher would be even be able to stay on the same as Rossi on bikes is dreaming. Rossi is a genius, Schumacher is an utterly deluded muppet. Rossi beat the late, great Colin McRea in a WRC car head-to-head so how good does that make Rossi?? I'd have put my money on McRea against the German any day of the week, just no contest.......now hurry up and disagree with me you Lemmings....what's that you say?? 'baaahhhhhhhh' was it?? Open your eyes.
