I''m firmly rooting for Parkalgar in 2009 - what happened to Craig was a tragedy and the team have responded with great dignity and respect in terrible circumstances.

Parkalgar also provided one of the highpoints of 2008 - the superb Portimao circuit which has a big future ahead of it with GP2 racing there too next year, and F1 having done a little testing there already. Their off-track contribution to the racing world this year was phenomenal.

Plus with Eugene Laverty on board, they will be in running next year.

I Agree with the above, for a small private non factory team they did a fantastic job. Craig was a race winner and a future world champion, and the respect of the team to carry on going forward with such a huge lose must have been so hard and admired by lots. The final round, and the team bounced back with a near podium. 2009 i am sure we will see the team win races with so much respect and dignity for one reason.....
Good luck Parkalgar in 2009 and Eugene and Praia, my self will be cheering for you.

Anyone but Ten Kate would be fine by me - nothing against them or their riders, but a bit of variety would be nice. Lascorz might be a good bet, but Parkalgar have an outside chance.

I assume Praia is there due to nationality rather than talent? Josh Hayes looked more impressive than him straight away. Eugene should do alright for them though.

Just want to wish team Parkalgar all the luck in the world, as they sure deserve it!

Eugene Laverty is bound to make a very positive impact on the championship.

Miguel Praia is getting better and better, and as a fellow-portuguese i hope to see him break regularly into the top ten, and get himself into the occasional battle for a top five finish!

Go Team Parkalgar!
