this can be controversial but for me Kawasaki plus their increased engineers (some from ex motogp project?) focused on SBK and Poul Bird Team together will build very promising chance to play stronger than ever:) I thing good years for Kawas are coming.

If you expect to see any more commitment from Krapaski I think you will be disapointed! expect to see them towards the back of the field in 2009, they did not abandon Moto GP because of money in my opinion more like a lack of results caused by a lack of commitment, their only hope rests with the guys running the WSB and WSS effort and how much Krapasaki interfer. :)

Can any one say "Hopper"? The 21 plate is open now that bayliss is gone. I would love to see the former team-mates (Spies & Hopkins) battle it out on the track. If anyone can put the ZX10R up toward the front of the pack, he can.

By pulling out of MotoGP will Kawasaki be putting more effort into the WSB/WSS bikes?
Will we get back to the good old days of kawasaki's getting reqular podiums? I'm obviously talking about the old ZX7R days as the ZX10R hasn't seemed to be able to keep up with the competition.

After looking at the Moto GP effort during the time they were competing who would want their engineers? The WSB world has changed since the days of private teams, lets face it teams like Hanspree get a lot of support from Honda, can't see Krapasaki supporting anybody to any extent consequently they will be also rans in WSB just like they were in moto gp, sorry to be so negative but their track record makes for pretty depressing reading! Laconi was a good rider, far better than his finishing positions show during his time with Krapasaki, they have wrecked a good few rider's careers, I do like their road bikes but to be honest I don't think they deserve the support of anybody!

Nevermind that, with Birdy running the squad there will be more riders changed than tyres for this season.

I might get me name down, as i can see all availble riders being used up by round 10.

Expect to see a fat wobbly 40 year old pulling wheelies at the back of the pack by the end of the year! :D
