I've said it before. I can't see Ben going to MotoGP. It's only logical. Why go to a series where the machinery determines the running order? A boring series at that!

World Superbikes, bar none, is the best to watch, with the best real world riders on the best production based machines.

If you want MotoGP to shine brighter than WSBK, take their traction control down a few notches and bring back the 990 displacement. You know, it's a pleasure to delete the MotoGP races off my DVR these days.

Spies is intelligent and if the logic is clear enough, he'll stay right where he is with Yamaha.

And, thank you, Ben. We are witnessing something beautiful with your skills.

This one should be easy. There is only one World Champion that is worth trying to defeat......LOOK-OUT Vale!!!

Can't see him leaving Yamaha no matter were. He is very happy with the bike in all respects and none of the other manufacturers have been doing nearly as well as Yamaha in WSB and MotoGP. Taking Toseland's seat is the only option. Edwards has proven the bike can run at the front even if he doesn't have the push to get it right to the front.

Spies left Suzuki as they would not give him a factory ride in MotoGP, so I am not sure that Tech3 would suit what HE wants.
Maybe he could be the exception to the WSBK rider rule in MotoGP (apart from the one Bayliss win) but as has been shown it is a very different playground.

Ach who knows, I just hope Haga is for a fight to the end of season.

Macbeth, there is a new rule next year which means a rookie can't join a factory team, so somewhere like Tech3 is his only option in MotoGP

Would be good to see Spies stay with Yamaha and join Tech3, then we'd see some different colour Yamahas at the front of the field!

Is there a rule which says you cant run a satellite Tech3 bike with factory support? Does this not apply to Elias on a Honda ? Tough one for Yamaha - they have enough quality riders in Motogp but they would love some WSB titles. Then there is Honda who must be desperate for a motogp title....and not forgetting the second Ducati ride ex-Melandri and soon ex-Hayden - but this stupid rule will stop this. Yamaha must be careful they dont do a Suzuki and lose Spies.....

Spies is an amazing rider to come and do what he is doing at new tracks with anew team its just incredible and his moto gp debut wild card rides on an uncompetative bike wernt at all shabby to say the least !
Ben should be in moto gp next year, i think a swap toseland vback to wsb and spies to tech 3 yamaha would work well for both riders and spies will shine on his 2nd appearence to most of the circuits !!!

No the rule says, that a rookie can not join a factory team, unless it hasn't a privateer team, so in this case the one exception would be suzuki, but as all we know the suzuki didn't coopted him this year, so one possibility would be tech3, or maybe Honda. For me the only one possibility is Tech3. It would be sad to switch the manufacturer once again, so hope he will remain on Yamaha Italia, or would go up to motoGP, at tech3.
