errrrr no one got near spies not one rider and Ellison did not say that either. Infact when Tony Carter mentioned to James that he had mixed it with Spies James said ' I wish' I could never get near him. He is one of the most humble lads I have ever had the pleasure to meet in all my years of racing

I thought it was funny the way he was talking himself up against Spies. I believe he met his wife through Ben so he must know him well enough to realize he is in no way near his class. Local knowledge or not.

Better get your fact straight mick. From Visordown news

BEN SPIES won't be given the soft treatment by Airwaves Yamaha's BSB riders at this weekend's Donington World Superbikes round. Both James Ellison and Leon Camier publicly said that if there was a chance of passing Spies then they're both going for it.
The Brits admitted that they didn't want to hurt Yamaha's chances in the WSB (so no surprise there) but in the words of James Ellison: “If Ben leaves a bike-sized gap and I'm anywhere near it then I'm going through it.”

So whats wrong with that Comment. You didnt say that before. You were 'implying'he was being cocky,
Both Camier and Ellisons questions were being fired at them without giving them time to think. But they both came over well in the interview. not cocky.
As for visordown news??? youve lost me there

Does anyone believe the airwaves bike are the same as the wsbk machines? I stood an listened to them and there is no way they are the same motor. Many of the same components I imagine however the wsbk machines will always be one step ahead, and rightly so

I was impressed with all the brits at Donington as the level of talent out there was a lot higher than ever in my opinion. Camier and Ellison are both modest guys and some of the above comments are rubbish, I'm ashamed if you guys are brits
