Mr Bo,

We will never know unless he get's a competitive ride in that series. Fact is he had an underpowered bike in the 250's and if your Aprilia doesn't work right in that series you are doomed. What i can say with certainty is that Eugene and Cal are head and shoulders above the rest of the WSS field...to the extent it must be quite embarrassing to Kenan and a certain Mr Pitt to get on the grid with them every time there is a race.

Like with most things in life, time will tell :)

I am sure he will have an offer on the table in WSBK before the silly season kicks off, he is a great talent and an asset to any team wishing to be right up the front.

Good luck to him , he deserves a good ride . Hope he does not take a ride just for the sake of taking a ride in WSBK . He is an awesome talent and has a long future in WSS and WSBK if he can manage his career with a step up to Moto2 and MotoGP

no hurry eugene. don't jump ship too quick, think back to the last 2 years with an underprepared team and remember your struggle. riding with an ace team on a top class bike goes a long way to lifting your morale. if it comes, it comes.....no more riding donkeys for no result. parlalgar have a great team ethic and spirit, do 1 more season in wss if need be, and wait for the right deal for eugene. remember...there ain't no second prize!!! see ya in portimao.

Think i read the MCN article this came from. He's going nowhere unless it's a better proposition than what he has at the mo. Parkalgar are planning a WSB assault if they can get between £2-2.5 million for a budget. They would take him along..their plan was to do this prior to Craig's tragic accident at Brands. He's not interested in Moto 2 for the first year, stated he had an awful time in that paddock and wont go back without knowing he's onto a good thing.
Eugene and Cal have shown the world just how talented they are and now they need to be offered WSB rides to match that talent..they've made the rest of the WSS boys look ordinary this year against regular winners in the class :)

Maybe if he stays with Parkalgar for another season in 2010 & does well Simon Buckmaster might consider moving into WSBK with Eugene on board ?

do you gents think the whole discussion many SB riders have about the MotoGP is truly the fault of the bikes/equipment, or is it simply that MotoGP has better/tighter/increased competition?

Personally I think it has a bit to do with the bikes, but I also think cream will rise to the top, and it sounds like Laverty realizes he can be that cream in WSBK, but not in MotoGP...not sure what to think of that?
