I echo Xaus' sentiments. I think they are doing a great job. On top of that, it's a beautiful bike and when BMW enters a competition, they mean business. Considering that they are new to road racing, this is already a big achievement. Apart from that, my compatriot Werner Daemen has given BMW its first two Superbike wins in an international series. He won both races last weekend in the IDM - even though the rules are not the same as in WSBK - whereas KTM has already achieved a couple of podiums as well this season. In preparation of 2010 WSBK .... ? Would be great

Well done Xaus. The Beemer has impressed many people in its first season. Can't wait to see it race once they have built that all important database.

Xaus is right next year is the real test for BMW. Aprilia has shown their experience and that of Biaggi has helped their team. Next year should be even more interesting with stronger Aprilia and BMW teams. Hopefully they'll be able to catch that pesky Yamaha.

The results have been pretty much expected. This season is a rigorous RD session really--and they're clearly showing growth.

Kawasaki should be ashamed of BMW finishing in front of them every race seeing as they have about 1/30th the experience.
