Brendan Roberts says he has 'unfinished business' in the World Superbike Championship as he continues to sit on the sidelines following his injury in a crash at Monza.

Brendan was awesome in the BSB Superstock series and then had an inconvincing year in World Superstock despite clinching the title.

Perhaps he should spend a year in BSB on a good bike to rebuild his reputation ?

Andrew - I presume you mean European Superstock. Roberts was convincing enough to win the title - there are a lot more competitive riders in Europe than in British Superstock.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but John Hacketts BSB team was offerred full factory Ducatis for 2009 provided that Brendan rode them, unfortunately he turned down the offer and Ducati would not let Rutter take his place. I am sure Brendan wishes he had taken the BSB ride when it was offerred.

Sick C - yes you are right - I meant ESS - he won it but it was still touch and go - many races he was just a passenger and not dominating as he should of done - especially when you are riding a proper Ducati. And if he was that good - why did he end up on a second/third string bike in WSB.

Its a shame - he's a good rider but has become invisible. If he had of been in BSB this year on a good bike - he might of given Camier some competition. Perhaps he has a poor manager to advise him or doesn't have a manager at all
