Real shame Gino didn't get this, especially after his performance during the Yamaha test.

Good for him, but I was hoping for Berger to come up to WSS. I guess he'll be staying at STK1000.

i agree that this ride should of gone to Gino Rea at the very least .. surely proved his worth to ten kate in winning the european superstock championship .. no disrespect to Pirro but he's hardly done much in WSS finishing 12th??? . i can only hope Gino gets a decent ride hopefully with Yamaha if they choose to stay in and then he can prove them wrong . Looks like ten kate won't be winning the WSS championship again in 2010 IMHO !! but hey it's crash.net and there's bound to plenty who knock my comments.

You should start thinking "who can prevent Kenan from winning in 2010" already. Laverty ? You bet. This guy ? No, good luck to him though. And maybe Broc Parkes will be in the frame too if he makes a come-back. Till then, it's Kenan Sofuoglu vs. Eugene Laverty in 2010.

Guess Ten Kate needed some coin as Pirro is a great qualifier but we know looking at his race results he can't back them up and ask Cal Crutchlow what he thinks about being followed in qualifying by Pirro to get himself up the grid. I can't believe no one has signed Mark Aitchison up who raced on a bike which had none of the electronic aids that the Yamaha's or top Honda teams had. His talent is very underestimated. Put him on one of the top 4 bikes and then you will see what he can deliver.
