Ben Spies made it a double win at Donington Park with victory in the second World Superbike Championship race of the weekend, closing the gap to Nori Haga in the points standings in the process.
For Haga, the race was nothing short of a disaster as he suffered a heavy fall at Coppice that had left with injuries that could well force him to miss some of the upcoming races.
