I'm owed money by this Sh*T someone on this site lovingly calls "MR Texiera" Do you pro Sh*t lobby really think the series can go on. This season's winning team has dissbanded with no prize money , New Zealand has dissbanded pulled out, Lebenon who paid their bills has pulled out with all the team layed off. France are about to call it a day along with South Africa, "Mr Texiera" has no staff left. The Silverstone facility is abandond, the London office only has a lawyer in it. "Mr Texiera" has no race cars and no equipment, a creditor is holding them against a huge debt, including innocent mechanics own personel gear. We are all dreaming if we think any money will come from these people

A1GP made a major mistake from the outset in regards to exposure. Richard Dorfman is/was the head of television. His duties included negotiating television contracts.

His contract was based on incentives/profit made from TV deals to broadcasters. He got paid according to what he brought in. Why do you think there was no TV deal in many countries, specifically North America? Because the companies were not willing to pay for A1. There are plenty of TV outlets who may have been willing to broadcast the series either for free or for a small fee. However, as Mr. Dorfman would not realize any self profit from these deals, they weren't pursued or signed. Not a good situation for a startup company

Why would Dorfman need a contract based on incentives when he is a director of Energem and A1's prosperity is Energems prosperity, money merry go round? when A1 Holdings folds there will be a lot of rats looking for some large holes.

Separating fact from fiction and unravelling the half trurths on here is nigh on impossible.

A list of the directors of Energem has been around since the series started. Nothing new there.

Richard Dorfman. Now a word please in the shell like of the poster who claims tv deals were not done in the USA because Richard needed paying. Complete garbage!!! I know from a Speed TV employee that Speed TV were offered for all intents and purposes a free deal to air A1GP in season 2. My source had been asked his view of the series and he said that they should air the series. They didn't.

A1GP is the best racing on the planet bar none. I'd also venture that it is possiobly the best tv coverage

It would appear that there is at least one more car that is available to A1GP. The Dutch car was at the Assen track on the 9th August.

Is this a sign that debts are being settled?

Not necessarily...it can be the MAL or the test car liveried in NED.

It has been done in the past...teams use other teams car or the A1 test car for their own promotion. Just has to sticker it up.

FACT. The car at the Rizla Racing Day was the Netherlands chassis and not a re-liveried test car or reliveried car of any othe Nation.

Of course it is impossible to prove, but why the question? There are more than enough people posting on this site with titbits of good information but delivered with a twist almost as if they don't want A1GP to succeeed. My information on the Dutch car is from a trusted and excellent source. I am not prepared to name them on here.

The actual A1 Team NED car was at Rizla. Likewise the car at SuperGP launch was the actual A1 Team MAL car

ferru is correct,

A1 Mal kept their car after Brands it never got locked up, probably the Mal team seat holder is one of TT's buddies. wonder why?? 2 swallows don't make a summer, 2 cars don't make a series.
