I'm owed money by this Sh*T someone on this site lovingly calls "MR Texiera" Do you pro Sh*t lobby really think the series can go on. This season's winning team has dissbanded with no prize money , New Zealand has dissbanded pulled out, Lebenon who paid their bills has pulled out with all the team layed off. France are about to call it a day along with South Africa, "Mr Texiera" has no staff left. The Silverstone facility is abandond, the London office only has a lawyer in it. "Mr Texiera" has no race cars and no equipment, a creditor is holding them against a huge debt, including innocent mechanics own personel gear. We are all dreaming if we think any money will come from these people

This will come as no suprise to some but the planned first round of A1 GP at Surfers will allmost certainly not now proceed the update's for the cars are timed out. A1 GP's management should inform of the enormous financial pressure A1 and Energem are under. The Indonesian round is also not going ahead. South Africa is very unlikely. Malaysia has no promoter to underwrite the race. Many on this forum will disregard all of this as rumour but it is fact,The talk here in Valencia is GP2Asia looked into taking over at Surfers. The present company need to sell or liquidate quickly to let the series survive under new guidance/ownership. If they dont it will go the way of A1 Operations, Bankrupt..

I understand from a team source that the update to the driver's protection is a prefabricated/ moulding and the modification is not timed out. It is a simple change.

If you are wrong on this score 'A1 Insider' why should we believe anything else you write?

Has somebody upset you in A1GP? If the series has no future as you suggest why keep posting? Strikes me strange too that if you really are in Valencia when you posted earlier that you had nothing better to do. Shouldn't you have been getting your team cars ready?

95% of ex A1 team members will tell you they know nothing of next season they are the ones with most questions, when I say timed out, meaning no time left to prepare the cars, the Silverstone facility has gone and the Eastbourne factory can only accommodate 2/3 cars at one time to be worked on and its not just crash boxes thats required and its not a simple job if not all done at the same time together. There are many reasons to be in Valencia the least likely is to be working on cars, and yes I am "upset" you, I would imagine would expect to be paid when you work unless you are a schoolboy and then wouldn't understand. My problem is with the incumbent management not the excellent series

No offense to you A1insider, but last week you said it was basically curtains down on A1GP this Monday as financial guarantees expired on Monday and lawyers were ready to pounce. Apparently it hasn't seemed to have happened. This week you seem to have forgotten about that and you are talking about insufficient time to update the car for safety. One way or the other it means that A1GP is at least solvent in some form although may be not healthy....why should anyone trust your statements here?

Subject A1 Grand Prix Operations Limited - in Liquidation

Dear Sir

I am instructed as Agent by the Mr Tim Bramston, Liquidator of A1 Grand Prix Operations Limited, to collect in and secure the assets of the company.
From the information that I have obtained, it seems that you may hold equipment that appears to belong to the company, and I would be grateful of you would confirm exactly what equipment you do hold and provide its location so that I may arrange collection forthwith. This includes, but is not limited to, the Mandatory Equipment issued to each Franchise Holder

We are now just 2 months away from the first race weekend of season five.
A1 Operations went into administration back in June, and the liquidator is only just starting to investigate where the assets are. 2 months sounds very little time indeed.
There will have to be something put in place to carry out those operational functions, but can it be set up within the timescale?

Why not explain what equipment exactly you do hold 'A1 insider'? A1GP Operations Ltd is not the main holding Company, nor the owner of the cars.
