I'm owed money by this Sh*T someone on this site lovingly calls "MR Texiera" Do you pro Sh*t lobby really think the series can go on. This season's winning team has dissbanded with no prize money , New Zealand has dissbanded pulled out, Lebenon who paid their bills has pulled out with all the team layed off. France are about to call it a day along with South Africa, "Mr Texiera" has no staff left. The Silverstone facility is abandond, the London office only has a lawyer in it. "Mr Texiera" has no race cars and no equipment, a creditor is holding them against a huge debt, including innocent mechanics own personel gear. We are all dreaming if we think any money will come from these people

On behalf of the FOTA???? OK, now i have heard everything. Excuse me while I roll over the floor laughing.

And er, so noble of some people to warn us for how A1GP does it's business, but er.. that is not your task. What I do know now is that if I should start a racing series, some people are quite willing to breach confidentiality.

A mystery source has anounced today it has negotiated to buy Tony Texiera out of A1 GP and end months of speculation as to the series future. As from today A1 GP will cease to operate, All A1 GP logistics will be used as a turn-key operation for a new "breakaway series". It is thought the cars and equipment being held by one A1 GP creditor will be sold off in the very near future. Tony Texiera today blamed the failure of A1 GP on the current financial climate and the inept A1 GP management.

Richard Renes,

What sought of cheek have you got to talk of "breaching confidentiality" defending TT and his gang against good honest working people who travel all over the world, work 18 hour days so people like you can then sit back in your armchairs and enjoy motor racing. Then after all the work, no pay, no expenses nothing. "Not our task to tell the truth" how bloody dare you by bringing it out into public knowledge Texiera will have to go and hopefully the series will be taken over and continue,

First of all, there is only one me. Someone is using my name to write posts here aswell. Now yes, I did say it's not your task to do bring out such news and breach confidentiality. I am not saying nothing is going on, I am saying it's not up to you to bring us that he who hides behind the name A1insider. (I am sure you do have an actual name)

As I am owed a large (in my circumstances)sum of money I think I am entitled to sound off, I never agreed to any sort of confidentiality. Many of us are self employed and not to get paid money we have earnt is hard especially when we all saw the excesses enjoyed by TT and his cronies. I also think suppliers who are owed collectively millions are entitled to air their views and to got to court. As for keeping identities private , you obviously dont know what sort of people we are dealing with here.

Well now, if my boss owed me money and I wouldn't get it after many months still, I am sure I would leave there at the first opportunity, but I guess that's me.

As for what people we're dealing with: I have some idea yes.. more than enough rumors go around. It's, in my view, probably why things didn't go too well.

A1GP was run as a mining corp, not as a racing series.
Just because you're on the board of directors of Energem doesn't mean you know how to negotiate TV contracts, for example.

How pathetic - confidentiality? I think people owed money might suggest that they intended to honour whatever contract they had, however A1 GP clearly breached that agreement by not paying and even lying about money having been sent!

Therefore any confidentiality clause that may have existed is null and void.

None of this is the fault of the suppliers.

What an eye opener this thread has been!

So I wont bust a gut on the outstanding A1 work then.

Here's hoping (however futile) that those who are owed get paid and A1 continues in some form..... as for the ops guys, you could not wish to meet a nicer and more professional bunch.

No what's pathetic is that on the dozens of forums and other places people can discuss A1GP, it's future, it's past and it's present, this is an 'eye opener' ?

Ah well, I guess it's because you don't have to register here.
