I'm owed money by this Sh*T someone on this site lovingly calls "MR Texiera" Do you pro Sh*t lobby really think the series can go on. This season's winning team has dissbanded with no prize money , New Zealand has dissbanded pulled out, Lebenon who paid their bills has pulled out with all the team layed off. France are about to call it a day along with South Africa, "Mr Texiera" has no staff left. The Silverstone facility is abandond, the London office only has a lawyer in it. "Mr Texiera" has no race cars and no equipment, a creditor is holding them against a huge debt, including innocent mechanics own personel gear. We are all dreaming if we think any money will come from these people

Where on earth do you get your information from? Thanks to the FIA and the internet we know that the first three rounds are SP, Indonesia and Malaysia. We know too that we're going to Assen in May.

Take a look at Hampton Down's website. Does it look likely to you that the International track there is going to be ready this side of mid-November? Is it not better for them to get everything sorted for season 2009/2010 and have a full lead-in in which to sell tickets and hospitality?

Do all the negative posters on here cheese me off? Yes they do!!!

It's too late to save face. Season 5 commercial value is tanking by the day. As usual, this arises from lack of promotion in most of the markets they purport to reach and an opaque/uncertain package for sponsors. F1-level sponsors know the truth about TV "reach" vs. viewership. And, A1 Team Malay aside, the franchises are worthless shells full of debts (proved in Team GBR's liquidation). So what if A1 gets to SP and has a grid at the last minute? They've already proved this to-the-brink management style generates nothing but losses and enemies. This is such a shame. To achieve bullish optimism in market, TT and gang must go. Parasites are often fatal if not removed. A1GP forever! Please!

Positive poster,

While its commendable of you to be positive about A1GP, a series we would all like to see survive unfortunatly the internet only has the information it is given in this case presumably by A1 GP Holdings, who are still desperatly trying to get bailed out from their debt ridden situation.

The previous post you questioned regarding - New Zealand round will not go ahead cause lack of sponsorship/promoter, Indonesia there is no agreement to hold this round lack of sponsorship/promoter. Malaysia is more likely to go ahead if their seat holder can get a promoter or a sponsor to promote the event but as yet no one in place last years event only went ahead at the 11th hr

All the speculation as to the first few rounds makes no sense without cars, and A1GP have no cars or equipment. From John Travis's interview "We have a summer re-build programme where we make sure that all the cars are up to the latest specification"...."the summer rebuild consists of a general rebuild ...so thats what we will be doing over the summer ready for the first test at Silverstone." most significan part of this rebuild is to redesign and change the side crash boxes which is mandatory under FIA rules, its now August, A1 have no cars no factory at Silverstone no workforce and 3 months work ahead of them. The Silverstone test has to be out and a huge ? over the first race, Deja-vu

Look New Zealand unfortunately won't happen this coming season because the track (Hampton Downs)won't be ready in time. Simple. A recent NZ article on the www questioning the race THIS SEASON is at best lazy journalism. If the reporter had done their homework they wouldn't indeed couldn't have written the stuff they did.

If you have FACTS to contradict me please go right ahead. Mind you, no heresay please.

The final curtain looks set to fall on A1GP tomorrow Friday 14th. When the latest promised payment dead line passes it will be back to the lawyers on Monday.
