This series was the lone brightspot in the winter months. Now it seems that it is going to go the way of CART. Too many hands in the basket, rising fees to be competitive and some arcane rules are forcing this series into the museum. Sad really, I really enjoy the "world cup" aspect of it.

it appears that a number of teams have been liquidated, and also that cars have been impounded over huge debts. some of the dates have been allocated yet there is no track confirmed. the whole series seems to be in very serious trouble.

I'm shock. Why Lippo circuit in Indonesia didn't get in to A1GP Calendar. Is it because didn't passed the homologation again from FIA? I heatrd that Lippo circuit will be at 6-8 November 2009 :-o :?
