Where is the money coming from?
Antonio Teixeira, Deputy Executive Chairman and Director of Energem Resources Inc (African Based Mining Company) has been providing 'Loans' to A1 Holdings and Lyndhurst Racing which could be valued up to US$54 Million dollars.
Energem Resources was suspended from trading on the London Stock Exchange in June 2009 for failure to release financial statements for the year ending 2008. Energem keeps putting forward the time it will announce its true financial position based on monies it expects to receive form debtors such as A1 Holdings.
With A1 operations owing tens of millions of euros the chance of Energem receiving any money is virtually nil.

I new in March this was a no go. The guy who said he would move to Darwin if it did not happen is very quite. Maybe he has gone already .

Yes it would be good to hear from A.J.

He was the one that cemented the surfers event in place and took the applause at that time.

Now things have gone pear shaped he is loud by his absence.

As I have said before everything is provisional, nothing definitive.

How can Tony Teixeira continue to dump money into a race series that is not sustainable? Where does the money come from to fund it?

The best thing that could happen is for A1GP to die and other more established Open Wheel series to grow.
