A1 Team Germany has revealed that it won't make its first appearance in the 2008/09 A1GP campaign until the fourth round of the season in New Zealand.
The team, which lifted the title in the second year of A1 competition, is currently undergoing a series of management changes and as a result, will not now appear on the grid until after Christmas.
“This is an exciting time for us and I am really looking forward to it,” new team principal Rolf Beisswanger said.
“We are now working hard on finding new partners and sponsors.
“We have long term plans for A1 Team Germany that will take us into season five and beyond.”
A1 Team Pakistan will also make their seasonal bow in New Zealand having elected to miss the next two races while modifications are made to its car to allow driver Adam Khan to be comfortable behind the wheel.
