Duval keen to secure lead.

Loic Duval will hope to take France to the top of the championship standings as he makes his return to A1GP competition this weekend at Sepang.

After a win in the opening rounds of the season at Zandvoort, Duval was forced to miss the second round of the campaign at Chengdu where his place was taken by youngster Nicolas Prost.

While Prost was unable to turn his pace at the wheel of the new Powered by Ferrari car into results on track, the French head to Sepang this weekend in a share of second in the standings with Ireland and Duval said his focus was on overhauling Malaysia for the points lead.

"I am happy to be back behind the wheel of the new A1GP car," he said. "I am sure the team has improved the car set up with Nicolas, and it will be the first time for me driving in dry conditions.

"I just hope that we will be as quick in Sepang as in Zandvoort and Chengdu. The aim is to lead the series at the end of the Malaysian weekend."
