Adam Carroll became the first driver this season to secure wins in both races in a weekend to help Ireland to lift the A1GP title at Brands Hatch.

Following his success in the Sprint Race, Carroll stormed to victory in the Feature Race ahead of Jeroen Bleekemolen for the Netherlands and Switzerland's Neel Jani to give Ireland the championship crown and leave Switzerland to settle for second.

From pole position, Carroll dominated the race and led from start to finish - pit stops aside - to come home more than ten seconds clear of Bleekemolen, while Jani took third for Switzerland despite a damaged exhaust on his car to ensure the runner-up slot in the standings for the outgoing champions.
