I dont actually understand what McNish is saying to be perfectly honest. It seems like he is saying that US is better, but wont put his finger on it. Just saying "Prioritise entertainment" is not a reason why US is better.

What he is saying then is the advantage of the diesel car should be eliminated and the LMP2 cars should be given the weight break to be competetive with the LMP1 cars ???

Or does he mean Europe should make the rules "mickey mouse" like Daytona Prototypes, or cars that are fake like NASCAR with lots of B**** razmataz to baffle the true fans ????

Yeah it's pretty sad to see a true European racer promote the entertainment shows that motorsports are mainly in the US. I find the exact opposite: I like sport, I like racing, I hate staged races with yellow flags each time the leader is ruining the suspense, and mickey mouse tracks.

And Audi's boss, who is despising the ALMS rules for not giving enough advantage to the diesels, each time the Audis get spanked by the small Porsches, will probably be mad at McNish as precisely the ACO rules provide for the said advantage, and even state that LMP2s shall not be faster than LMP1s, or else the ACO may take any necessary step...

Bending the rules for diesels was already too 'US minded' for me!
