Fresh from a third place finish in the Rolex 24 at Daytona, Level 5 Motorsports has announced it will enter the American Le Mans Series for the 2010 season.

The Grand-Am frontrunners will field a car in the new Le Mans Prototype Challenge class, with the team competing in all nine rounds of the season with the ORECA FLM09 machine.

Team owner Scott Tucker will be partnered by former Le Mans 24 Hours winner Christophe Bouchut for the season ahead.

"We are excited to be racing at Sebring this year in the new Le Mans Prototype Challenge class," team manager David Stone said. "The new LMPC class has certainly been intriguing since it was announced last year. The number of cars continues to increase each week, which should make for some great competition."

Tucker has already spent time at the wheel of the car with two podium finishes in the car in the Le Mans Winter Racing Series at Paul Ricard.
