Cat has been a bloody star this season and gets nowhere near the credit she deserves....landmarks this year of first female win, lap records etc and she gets not even a mention in MCN, not even after the win at Cadwell.

She was even close to challenging for the overall championship at one stage but for a rash of bad luck with mechanicals etc.

I truly hope her success continues, she's a real asset to the series and is there on merit not cos she's a token girl.

Really good to see Cat being recognised. I was at that meeting and it was such a shame she did not get the chance to receive the applause she deserved on the warm down laps (the race had to be stopped just before the end). This article goes a long way to making amends, so congrats again to Cat and thankyou Crash.net for providing a really well written reminder of how good she is.

My all time top three racing moments were watching McWilliams take the lead from VR and KRJR at Donington 2000 on the 500 twin Aprilia, watching Jonesey win his last BSS round on the 600 Triumph (that was at least 3 seconds a lap slower than everything else), again at Donington, and watching Cat this year win at Cadwell!
She seems such a genuinely nice person, a fantastic racer, and credit to Ryan too for backing her

@rs one of my highlights if not the highlight of the season Cat was brilliant all year if the bike hadn't have conked out a few times she would of won it she might be twice the age of most of the motostar kids but she schooled them i hope she wins it next season keep her on and if there's a moto3 bike budget there get it
