Leon Haslam has a pin inserted into his fractured leg as he looks ahead to a possible return at Donington Park in just under a month's time.

That looks rough. Most of the time it's upwards of 4 months after a tib/fib before it's advisable to put full weight on it. He's wanting to race again in 4 weeks..

Leon doesn't seem to quite ever get the rub of the green. He's talented no doubt - if nothing else the fact that he so far has been the closest teammate to Jonathan Rea on that Honda has to reinforce that.

I thought when Leon got the BMW S1000 ride he'd finally got there - but it never quite gelled and the results never were quite what he needed.

I wish him well and a speedy recovery. I'm sure he'll be back just like his namesake Camier he's a tough nut. be nice to see him get a couple of decent results in 2013.
