Good luck this year Camier, think you'll be a regular podium man this year.
One thing that really gets on my tits,Camier and Chaz Davies both used to race and beat Casey Stoner in the British 125cc,so how come Stoner has had good bikes and a short route to the top,yet the British boys are still on the British scene.Whats going on.Even though there hasnt been a Moto gp win for Britain since Barry Sheene,Britain is still 3rd in the all time list for most Moto gp wins.Get some British boys on the Moto gp scene with good bikes

Simon - certain riders seem to have luck/financial support/guardian angels who look after them. We really need to nurture our young riders by having an academy system & we also need to get them into the public eye so they become as important as F1 drivers.

Andrew - your right about the academy and i thought the R1 Yamaha Cup was the begining of one,but now we have damn aussies in that too.Just like cricket,we let all these Aussie scum come over and learn their trade and then beat us. Ban all Aussie sportsmen in this country and let them learn for themseleves, lol
Once a thief,always a thief,lol

There seems to be real excitement about Leon and his future. At the start of this years BSB he was the bright star but he faded in the mid season and then he had his crash.
Next year he has to capitalise on his opportunity. He has a respected team mate to try and beat.
Hopefully his past exploits with Chaz and Stoner will add to his standing (and also his rides in the suzuka 8hr.
Leon Camier, Leon Haslam & Bradley Smith are our future in bike racing

Don't forget Sykes, Rea, Crutchlow and Jones, plus some of the young 'uns in the domestic 125 series, it's looking pretty promising. If Haslam can't win BSB this year though, he needs to accept the fact that he's going to be a 'Chris Walker' - essentially a skilled rider, all-round top bloke, but just not quite good enough for the world scene.

Back on topic, i really can't wait to see Shafter gunning it out with Grinner, Haslam, Crutchlow, Laverty and the old boys like Shakey too. Should be another top season in domestic racing.

The way to stop the Aussies beating the brits is for the brits to beat the Aussies. They are finding something we are not. It isn't talent, we are all the same. I think they want it more. Our boys are either too comfortable with the British scene or they are just really good at coming second. We have some real talent here in the UK and I want a Brit showing the way more than anything but pushing all the competition away is not going to teach us anything.

I am not sure but I think Stoner missed an awful lot of the races in the British 125 class a few years ago, but he still came second. I only saw one race but during this race, Stoner absolutely wiped the floor with the brits.

It all comes down to attitude. The Aussies have that winning attitude which borders on arrogance, they have so much self confidence and fear no-one. For a country with only 20 million people they punch well above their weight in world sport.
