Craig Wilkins and Aaron Scott have kick-started their plans for the 2009 Avon Tyres British GT Championship after taking part in a day of running last week at Snetterton.

The duo went into the test looking to shakedown the Dodge Viper they campaigned last season after a major rebuild over the winter, but the car was quickly up to speed once the formalities of the shakedown were complete.

Indeed, such was the pace of the Viper that it was soon lapping quicker than during qualifying for the Snetterton race last season – boosting confidence ahead of the start of the 2009 campaign.

“All the development work we did last season has really paid off,” Wilkins said. “The rebuild is superb and the car went brilliantly.

“We're looking forward to getting back out again soon.”
