The MTECH team is heading to foreign soils to continue preparations for the 2010 Avon Tyres
British GT Championship season.
The team will test its Ferrari 430 Scuderia at the Portimao circuit in Portugal before heading for
Jerez and Monteblanco in Spain, with Duncan Cameron and Matt Griffin both set to spend time behind the wheel.
"Duncan and Matt will drive the car at all three circuits over seven days in the coming weeks, and I am sure it will be invaluable preparation," team boss Mike Edmonds said. "The whole team is revved up and raring to go for the coming year.
“On paper we are looking very strong: we have the right drivers and the right equipment. Last year we worked hard and it paid dividends towards the middle of the season. We should be strong from the start in 2010."
MTECH head into 2010 as one of the pre-season title favourites having become the first team to win with the 430 Scuderia last season – when Cameron and Griffin won the two-hour race at Silverstone.
