Sylvain Guintoli, joined triple BSB title winner, John Reynolds, at Snetterton race circuit on Friday, as the Frenchman added the Norfolk facility to his list of track visits in preparation for the 2009 season.

The Crescent Suzuki British Superbike man, who has already visited Brands Hatch Indy, Cadwell and Oulton Park, since signing to ride in next year's series, met up with Reynolds to learn the lines and techniques needed at the super-fast Snetterton track.

Talking after several laps in the track safety car, Guintoli said: "Snetterton is really good and quite different to those circuits I have visited already. Despite not looking as technical as Cadwell or Oulton Park, you need to be precise and very confident for the fast corners.

"Having John with me today has been a great bonus. His experience around here is huge and he has been able to show me some good techniques and areas where I can make up time."

Guintoli will now enjoy a winter break before getting in visits to the final few circuits in January, before pre-season testing commences.
