There's an open ride with the DFX team in WSBK. Rutter and the Duc seem to be a quite nice combination.

With all due respect to poor Regis though who would need ample time to get back to the WSBK tracks (hopefully sooner than later though).

Get well Regis and good luck Rutter :p

Why in hell would Gary Mason who is doing very nicely thank you on that Fireblade take such an appalling risk as picking up that ride?

It may be better than nowt, but not by a lot.

I wish old Rutter well. I hope he picks something up but this will be very difficult for him until it becomes obvious where the fault is. And for that to help him it pretty much needs another class rider to get on it and fail too.

I think the last person to do well on a Rob Mac bike was "Spudz" Mackenzie when he won 3 BSB titles back to back (to back). Anyone else?

I seen this coming miles off. Was chattin to rutter at north west 200 last week. He wasn't a happy bunny and by the face's of the mechanics the weren't happy with him.
Why not give the young lad riding the supersport bike a go on the superbike! Or what about getting one of the young dunlop lads on it. From what i seen on saturday they are what bsb needs

Just hope Rutter gets another ride. He is still a very good rider, with lots of experience. I saw his dad at the classic bike show at Stafford in April and he told me that Michael had some real issues with the front end.
What has the airwaves team got that rob mac hasn't?

Rob Mac's team don't know what they are doing, after all Jentin beat them last year with no help from anyone !!! Rutter rode for JMF Millsport racing at the NW200 (supersport and superstock) they also have a superbike so that could be the TT sorted !! And a call to Jentin would fix a ride for him in BSB it would be about time they had a descent rider

Both Rutter and Walker looked completely worn down at Oulton. This team needs hungry young riders who havn't ridden for better run teams.

Rutter doesn't just instantly become a bad rider. It would appear that the problem lies with the team rather than the riders.Rob Mac needs to figure out how to get the best from his team first and fore-most.

Really hope that we haven't seen the last of Rutter on the short circuits.

Sorry but that comment about the dunlop boys getting the ride really dont think so. Good goers at roadracing but on the purpose built tracks they get beat regular even in irish superbikes let alone bsb. Id say M laverty will be the top name on the shortlist.

I have been a big follower of bsb since it's inception and before, I love Rutter and am struggling to imagine bsb without him but, I have to say that this has been a long time coming....sorry Michael. His last decent season was on the Renegade Duke...how many years ago....Rutter was an exceptional rider and inspirational to the modern era of british superbike racing but, he has lacked confidence for too long. BSB deperately needs to replenish the field with new talent, here is an opportunity....sorry Michael.
