There's an open ride with the DFX team in WSBK. Rutter and the Duc seem to be a quite nice combination.

With all due respect to poor Regis though who would need ample time to get back to the WSBK tracks (hopefully sooner than later though).

Get well Regis and good luck Rutter :p

@ vimto mustache

You might be right. It could be the bad results are because Walker & Rutter are worn out old has beens.

On the other hand you could have the cart and the horse arze about face.

A rider doesn't normally go from the top step (Mallory race 2)to 16th on a well sorted bike in under a year. And they certainly don't usually stop off to stand on the second step at Macau en route.

I've more faith in Rutter than that bike/team combo.

l'm Not surprised and feel sorry for Rutter, but i'll bet any money you like that Rob Mac's bikes are not the same spec bikes as Airwaves. Rob Mac's got his bikes very early in the year the lads did loads of miles in pre season testing. In the mean time Airwaves bring there's straight to the races and win with no testing come on!!. It strongly suggest to me they had to wait to get something special, proberly from the same shop a Spies. Also, ome one explain to me why there's only 2 yamahas in world supers,l think the same goes for the British series as well. Rutter and Walker would be gone riding the Airwaves bikes its the bike not the riders that's not up to the job.

I'm not going to pretend like I'm a BSB expert but I do remember reading that the Airwaves bikes were built by the Yamaha WSBK team which caused them to be delivered late. If my understanding is correct, they were built close to the same spec as Spies and Sykes bikes as the BSB rules allow(that's just what I read - not sure how true it is know you can't believe everything you read!). So I guess the question is to what spec is the Rob Mac's bikes?

Rutter is still pretty top bloke on the roads and I wouldn't think he has lost it in a year. I would think he's just probably down because of the team and needs a new start. He's a bit too old to try to rally a team - he needs and established one.

Rutter was suppose to do the TT with Rob Mac Yams. Any word on if he is still going and what bikes? Surely Honda can find him bikes and a ride, no?

That's exactly what happened. Well covered by the press.

Well' we going to have o call this the Jason Button Syndrome, Everybody knocked him down during his Honda years, He's show what can be done with the right tools. Hope Rutter gets sorted soon, and is ready for the TT. The Yam would of been hard work road on the island. not many slow corners it can punch its way out of there, there flat in top most of the time.
And just to recap, there's no way Airwaves would of gave up the Ducatis, without knowing they would be getting top spec replacements from yamaha that why they waited and Colin looked so smug when they won straight from the off. Rob Mac has never had top spec bike since the Boost days.

think its pretty obvious really, its not all about the bike and rider you need a good team. lets face it they have won WSB races on a privateer bike. They got there S**t together.

Chris , who the hell is Jason Button ?
I don't think it is fair to suggest Rob Mac is a bad team , they had success previously and Rob is no fool.
They have stuck by Yamaha all these years when it would have been easier to go elsewhere , they are basically struggling to develop this bike.
Walker and Rutter are past their best , get two more young riders on them and they will climb the table.

TimBo. Jason Button drives for the 'Brown' team in the World Car Driving League. His closest rival is Louis Hamilton.

McRacing - aah that's right, his team mate is Ruby Barichello, Rose Brown is the team owner.
Sorry, i feel rather foolish now not remembering that, thanks for putting me right in such a fine manner.
They are leading the World driving car league too aren't they, well done, a spiffing job.
Now then , back to Michelle Rutter and Big Mac , feel Rob is being treated harshly on here , what do you thing McRacing.....
