Rob Mac must have been wincing when he saw Michael take 4th on the grid.

You'd hope so - also a few of the unbelievers on here who were derogatory about the Blades chances will hopefully be doing the same - it is a circuit he likes and a nice chance to get used to the Gixer before he gets to the Island next week. C'mon the Blade!!

BSB » Thruxton - Qualifying times

Leon Camier leads an Airwaves Yamaha 1-2 in qualifying at Thruxton, but it's Cup rider Gary Mason that steals the headlines in third position.

Wow, some amazing performances there. First off, awesome job by Camier all weekend and a well deserved poll position. Ellison must have been sandbagging to suddenly find nearly a second and a half. This should be quite a battle.

The biggest surprises though have to be Mason and Rutter. Great job Gary and I hope you have 2 excellent races. Same for Rutter, who only just got on the bike a few days ago and showed that the problem before was the bike and not the rider. Rob Mac must have been wincing when he saw Michael take 4th on the grid.

Aye, good showing from Rutter. I'm pleased for him because there was a lot of negative comments, on here especially, saying he shouldn't be given another chance, which was obviously complete rubbish. (not that Rutter would give two hoots about those comments) Big credit to Gary Mason, a very strong performance.

Would like to have seen wee Easton a bit closer but 7th isn't to be sniffed at. Another lighting start and he'll be on for a podium again.

Hah-ha, mine isn't. Well, I've got Easton, but I also had poor Guintoli.

Might be on a winner Nitro! No team orders at GSE and James has now 'smelt blood'. Wouldn't mind seeing Simon Andrews mix with the airwaves boys :)

Leon has a lot left in his tank, he only did enough to qualify in pole, watch him go in the race.
Well done to Gary Mason, beating all the big boys(except Airwaves), he deserves a top ride next season, maybe Brookes's???!!!!!

Good showing from Rutter, think it shows that Rob Mac Yamaha is a bit of a dog!

Hope they sort the bike out for Walkers sake especially, he should be right up there.

No, no that's a *different* Michael Rutter in 4th.

The Michael Rutter who was on the Rob Mac Yam was slow because he was old and past it and the Worx ride should go to a youngster because they would deserve it and being a geriatric he wouldn't do anything with it.
I read it here.
Lots of times.

And to all those posters it gives me *great* pleasure to say EAT CROW YE****AZ...
(and also - smug - I told you so) :p
