44th Jenny Tinmouth, 110.585mph average for 6 laps, bloody fine effort for a first race on the Island young Lady... I salute you!

what a fantastic result for J.Mc and also for Honda. Can Mc continue this for a few more years? I hope so.

Both him and Platter are like fine wines .......... They get better with age.

Shame Anstey broke down as he may have given John a run for his money, although the pace he ran it would have been a struggle for anyone to get near him. Nice to see Guy Martin get a podium after his s**t TT last year, and Steve Plater....well what can you say, Mr Versatility is there again!

Whatever way you look at this result HM Plant knew what they were doing when they took on John & Steve. This could be a clean sweep for Honda this year..I just hope Guy Martin gets that win as well :)

Proving, as of proof were needed, that this man is one of the Island Greats. Well done the remarkable Splat Plater. I really think he has become the great all rounder. Wonderful men.

No clean sweep for Honda. For one they won't win the TTXGP event and it's unlikely they will beat Antsey on the K9 Superstocker!

Brilliant ride by John and all the other out there. And what a lap record and possibly more to come if the pace of Cameron Donald in practise can be matched in the racing, such a shame he's missing. Would really love to see John Mc match his TT form in the short circuit racing.

Great to hear Steve Parrish and Jamie Whitham doing the commentary on ITV4. If the BBC will insist on keeping one of the jokers they have commenting on the MotoGP, at least get Whitham involved and get rid of the Aussie Cox!!

Go Guy Martin!!!
