I find this a very odd decison.

Rutter a proven top five rider, okay maybe not a championship winner but he has come close a few times and at Mallory who would have bet against him being on the podium at least once?

Tommy Hill, I can not see him doing better job than Rutter. Has he ever bet Rutter? On the other hand it's a big break for Tommy and i wish him the best but I just have never seen him as front runner on superbike.

Tommy Hill will return to British Superbike action by taking over the 'substitute' Worx Crescent Suzuki seat from Michael Rutter at the forthcoming Mallory Park round.

I wouldn't class Bridewell's time in European Superstock this season as successful, but his performances at Knockhill and Snetterton means that he's done more in two rounds than Hill has managed in the last two seasons. Although that German tw@t didn't exactly help by knocking him off in that grim first turn incident last season...

Brendan Roberts is available - not sure if he is race fit though - cant get excited about Tommy Hill anymore than Michael Rutter

The right choice IMHO....Rutter has lost interest in fighting for a race win, although he's still quick in isolation, hence his practice times.
Really pleased for Tommy, its time he found a slot in a good team that will give him the equipment and support he needs to perform at his best.
If Jack and the team were impressed enough with him in testing to offer him the ride then that's their decision, end of.
Tommy Bridewell has not done enough yet to justify the gig and all this bull about Tommy H only being a supersport rider....where did that come from? He spent years on a superbike for Rob Mac and even put the thing on pole for a WSB race at Silverstone....he's hardly a novice!

You have to applaude Crescent for putting a young rider on the bike instead of a old has been. Only one problem, its the wrong young rider!

pp916 - he only got on pole because of weather. just have a look at his race results that weekend: two 12th places from pole position... great results there. He didn't exactly set BSB alight either. I know he was on Pirellis when everyone else was on Dunlop and Michelins, but his performances in the R6 cup and on a supersport bike points towards him being a bit of a Karl Harris or Andrew Pitt IMHO.

Jeez some people have short memories. When Tommy was on a decent superbike (Virgin Yamaha when it was getting all the trick bits) in BSB he did rather well which is why he got a chance at a wildcard at Silverstone. Admittedly it was a wet session but he got Superpole on his first outing, nought to shabby i am sure everyone will agree. He ends up going into WSS and on two successive seasons he get's his leg broken, the second time being the first time he was back on a bike in anger and he gets taken out by another rider. He shouldn't have moved up to Althea WSB squad but thankfully he's now getting his chance to show his worth and i really hope he does that.
Rock on Tommy!

Tommy Hill. As good as any rider in the UK, including Rea, Crutchlow, Camier, Jones (RIP) - Fact. Please keep your uninformed opinions to yourselves. Informed opinions more than welcome. Please support how you know your opinion is accurate. Now he has a decent team behind him, watch him excell. Maybe not immediately because I'm sure his confidence is a bit shot from those Italian muppets, but 3 or 4 races into the season and Camier won't be dominating as easily. Mark my words. :D

Such a pity for Suzuki this year, both in WSB & BSB they had front-runners taken out by freak accidents.
Max N was easily top 5 material maybe top 3 this year or better and Silvan was certainly top 3 and quite possibly this years title winner.

I think the user "You guys haven't got a clue!!!!!" is Tommy Hill. So we're all uninformed but you're the only informed one here...LOL!!

I don't think Tommy HAS 3-4 races to prove his worth. He better hit the ground running to raise his stock as a racer.
