I find this a very odd decison.

Rutter a proven top five rider, okay maybe not a championship winner but he has come close a few times and at Mallory who would have bet against him being on the podium at least once?

Tommy Hill, I can not see him doing better job than Rutter. Has he ever bet Rutter? On the other hand it's a big break for Tommy and i wish him the best but I just have never seen him as front runner on superbike.

we all know how fast and brave Tommy is, and I actually think he's started to learn that you have to stay on the bike until the chequered flag. So on that basis I reserve judgement on the lad until after 19th July. Good Luck Tommy :) :) :) :) :) :)

I wish him all the best, but the only thing he's made an impression on is the asphalt at virtually every track in the country! He's probably deeply impressed the guy who supplies his teams with spare parts too. Sorry Tommy, but there's no point riding quickly for a few laps if you can't finish a race. Get that crashing under control and let's see how the season pans out.

the signing makes sense to me,Rutter is at the end of his career so doesnt have the fire in his belly like Tommy who is still establish himself and has everything to loose.

I think Tommy's problem is he tried run before he could walk. which I find bizarre. I remember he won his first off-season race and then made comments that he wanted to go to WSB.

What are u all on. Tommy bridewell? Whats he done? Tommy hill Has won a bsb race the race of champions twice top 5 in 4 world supersport races and is a true fighter. He has had 2 years of injuries and a team who wouldnt change anything on the bike and still he scored points on an under powered unchanged fireblade. HE DESERVES THE RIDE. People in the racing paddock know whos who. When he was on a pig of a bike virgin yamaha he had weekends where he beat rea/camier/haslem/crutchlow/plater/brogan. well hes beat nearly every 1 at some point. A top bloke and a top rider. People who knock him hav not a scoobie about racing and what goes on. GO TOMMY

How many laps do you reckon Hill will do before he lands on his Ars3 ?? Good luck to Hill but i think he's better suited to Supersport. What has Tom Bridewell ever done ??? If he had been given as many chances on decent bikes like Hill has i think you would be seeing what Bridewell could have done by now which in my opinion would be more than Hill has in BSB.I dont rate Hill but wish him well for however long he rides the worx suzuki for.I'm sure if Bridewell gets on a much better bike soon he will make better use of it.At only 20 yrs old he has a good future ahead of him especially if the way he's ridden the last 2 rounds on such an old near stock bike is anything to go by.

everything has gone wrong for suzuki in superbikes. their 2 best riders are injured (guintoli and neukirchner) and without them, the suzuki isn't doing so well.
hope tommy hill does well. he's due some good luck and hope he gets a ride next year although i'd like to see andrews on a factory bike other than the kawasaki.

i suppose you have to give all the current riders a few chances as sometimes teams or bikes are not what they are supposed to be. You climb through the ranks bsb - wsbk - motogp? and arrive at world class. I really don't know if Tommy has every-thing to go to the top or just a good bsb rider. He's bound to crash or if he doesn't spend all the time thinking hes going to and do nothing any way.
Maybe Tommy should try for a slot on the Sky comedy ( sorry )commentry team. If an ex crasher like J Hayden can talk absolutely nothing about nothing then, Tommy, there's your chance.
Just watch, the next time you see JH being asked a question he will just repeat the question **** about face.

I gave up on Tommy Hill when he started referring to himself in the 3rd Person! There's a fine line between the confidence/fighting talk these guys need and plain arrogance. He needs to start getting results that back up his "Tommy Hill does this, Tommy Hill can get the results" chat.
