Out for a month with injury.
Then out for the rest of the season with a ban hopefully.

The damaged thumb now goes with his faulty brain... It seems that it can't receive depth of field from his eyes or send motor signals to his right hand in time.

I'm off to Brands for the first time in a few weeks, hopefully this pr1ck won't be riding. Then that's just an ounce of justice compared to robbing other riders of wins/podiums and a whole season of racing.

At last! This guy is absolutely dangerous. Hope he will be forced out of the entire championship.

Probably just as well. If he has any sense he'll be keeping low profile. Maybe he should try reading "How to make friends and influence people"

What we witnessed to day was a race accident, if you listen to the comments of whitam and rymer it was just an unforntunate crash. What i found very bad was the a team manager like Jack Valatine can react. What a poor manger, he should be banned, Paul Denning controls a good time, but Jack is simply not up to the standards of manageing the squad. Hope he gets the flick next year, and goes back to tuning Harleys.

Jack Valentine is passionate about racing, his reaction was justified.
It will be interesting to see what punishment is being given to Brookes. What's the betting he won't be riding in the UK in 2010?

The BSB Judicial Panel has just issued a statement: having considered the incident, they found Brookes guilty of reckless riding, and banned him for two events, plus one suspended.

The HM Plant team has not appealed the decision.

Racing accident PJ? Gawd, give your brain a rest.
Brookes certainly does, most of the time.
If somewhat rides like a pr@t, and causes an accident as a result, it's not a racing incident, it's bad riding and poor judgement.
