Interesting interview in this weeks MCN with Rob Mac - "I don't understand how we could have got the bike so wrong" - He agreed that Rutter was right all along with his feedback on what was needed to get the R1 right - since following his advice the bike has now come right.

What a shame they got the bike so wrong at the start of the season and waited so long before they started to change it.

Shame about Andrews. Good luck to Rutter - hope he goes well enough to secure a decent ride for next season.

Has any other rider raced for Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda and Kawasaki in one season in one championship before ? Shame about Andrews though, he was looking good this year.

Probably a BSB record for riding for 4 different manufacturers in a single season... :)

Bad luck for Simon Andrews , he is going to have to wait another round to win a race .
AS for Mr Rutter , another weekend another bike another set of leathers . Is he getting paid on how many teams he rides for ?

As far as I can make out he only needs to ride the MV Augusta to have the full set.... Unless Ducati and Aprilia put in late appearance

Pity about Andrews, he has improved massively since the start of the season, would have been nice to see him take a win, or at least some podiums.
Good luck to Rutter though, just goes to show, you can't keep a good man down.

Great stuff, good for Rutter, and good for all the BSB fans, lets hope Rutter can continue to put the same amount of performance in as Simon Andrews has done so far the MSS team. Simon Andrews for SBK next year.

I love this quote from Rutter "I can't wait to make a nuisance of myself at the front of the field." Rutter has been Mr. Stand-In all year, and doing remarkably well for it as well.

Well Done 'Blade' !!
shame he took so much stick when he split with Rob Mac earlier in the season - he was the one who was right all along! Pity a few more folk didn't have faith and believe him. He will be in the points again at Brands - and good on him!!
