Its a disappointment that Tommy will not be riding in BSB this year.
He has a huge talent and his dedication to win was second to none.
However its obvious the Swan Yamaha in 2012 didn't have the legs to compete on the long circuits. Factory supported teams have the advantage.
Put Tommy on the right Bike in the right team and he will produce the goods

Sorry to see your not in bsb this yesr Tommy, but fully understand. You've put your heart and soul into racing since you were 7 thats some career anyway. Chill out this year, work on your designs and hoprfully see you in 2014. If not all the best to you.

hi tommy i totaly understand your reasons for not racing in the 2013 season, i hope you come back better,, i had the great pleasure watching you win the epic win over hopkins, you should have been given a ride in world superbikes because a few riders in it do not deseve to be there ,yamaha kicked you in the teeth, your a great englshman stay proud .

I don't see why people are so surprised as Hill just isn't a personality. Seems like a nice enough chap but nothing as entertaining as Shakey, Brookes, Hopper etc.

Didn't he also have a kid due round about Xmas time ? Would also explain taking a year out to spend some time with the little one and the missus.
