Once you start arguing 'Oh it should be Pirelli so its interchangeable with WSB' or 'No it should be Dunlop they're British' then you're right where Dorna want you - Missing the point. Moto GP barely avoided falling into this hole. It won't be equal. It won't improve racing – some tyres suit some bikes better than others, and listen to the WSB riders if you're naive enough to think 'all control tyres are equal. Chances are this will push some teams out. But it will put cash in somebody's pocket.

My first thought would be to go for a control tyre as used in WSB ie Pirelli to allow British wild card entries like in the old days.

Going for Dunlop or Bridgestone would shut the door to any idea of wild car rides in WSB

Agreed Andrew, only way to go imo if they are going down the single tyre route which they obviously are

Could Pirelli actually supply all the needs for both WSB & BSB?
For once, we should support our own industry and go with Dunlop. Made here, used here.

And perhaps we should support our motorbike industry and only run GB made bikes !! :) :) :) :) :) :)

Fields would be a little spartan.
