How long between the first bike dropping and Dean Ellison hitting hit? It is very clear from the pictures that even after Ellison hit the other bike the flag man was waving the green flag..

Mercer was thrown from his bike, the narrowly missed by a couple of riders behind him, then Ellison came out the chicane and before he had chance to brake properly, he was hitting the fallen bike.
