Better to keep four manufacturers happy than only one.

Yep, the good old Honda lobbying machine is alive & well.
Ducati are doing good not because of any advantage, but coz their riders actually manage to stay on their bikes.
But we must keep the Japs happy mustnt we?

Not really. Japs have had it their own way for far too long. They don't want a level playing field.
I'd rather see any other manufacturer win than them.

Its all a bit of a joke really. What would make sense is a minimum weight for bike and rider combined plus power output within closely defined limits. Maybe they would all be on a level playing field then.
Or of course they could compromise and all manufacturers start using 3 cylinder engines. :D

Shakey would win races on the Hondas,Suzukis,Yamahas and he would probably put a Kawasaki on the rostrom so instead of giving Ducati extra weight lets start giving Shakey a bit of credit.
He is the world class rider as he has shown in the past in WSBK.
Yamaha,Suzuki and Honda have all beat Bayliss in WSBK so come on you non italian BSB teams spend a little less money on your hospitality tents and a bit more money on development and testing and you never know you might start winning races.

GEORGE - your so right about shakey being a god on a bike, infact i'm sure he'd win on a honda C90 . . . So where has he been for the past few seasons ? was'nt winning then.

I like shakey but he's not what make the Duc fast, otherwise he'd have win the championship on the Suzuki and Honda aswell. BSB is suppost to be about the bikes in the showrooms. Ducati were given an advantage to try to make it even, it went too far so they have to be reignedin before teh season continues.
