Shakey would do well in WSBK especially in a factory team such as Ducati or even Yamaha.

If Airwaves Ducati (GSE) made the switch to WSBK and had good factory support, then he will still be competitive, but not such as force i think as he would be on the Xerox team.

Personally id like to see Shakey come across next year to WSBK and kick some Biaggi ass.

definately a talented gritty good rider.

Agree about the 4cyl comment Chu Chu, even though it was on a Satellite team and not a Factory ride, Shakey is more suited i feel to a Duc.

On a 4cycl don't be surprised if Andrew Pitt gets a Ten Kate Ride in the WSBK ranks next year and wins a few. :)

Yep, Shakey on a Ducati NOT a 4 cyl, and the brilliant Pitt on the ten k, as he was robbed of his ride on the big bikes by corser @ yamaha.

Byrne beat Biaggi, yeah right....no chance.

WSBK is not BSB mate. Circuits to learn as well, Max all the way.

As stated b4, without the 1098R Shakey would be doing what he normally does in BSB - making up the numbers near the front.

Ten Kate have a problem of too many good riders, but as long as Honda is paying for them, they're not complaining. Keenan will def stay with the team, even if he drops back to WSS. The team are really behind him after the loss of his brother & still believe in his ability. Rea was supposed to use this year as a stepping stone to WSBK, but Pitt is proving himself again.
BTW, I believe Checa is not a certainty for Ten Kate next year.

Shane's riding style suits the duke, and has done since he tested for GSE back in 98. His best chance of the championship is to hope that the Airwaves boys go WSB. Their previous 'trainees' hodgson and toseland made the move up, but struggled with the factory team culture, even though they did go on to win. Leave JP to have his one make BSB series (jap 4cyl)

Its about time someone in WSBK woke up and give Hodgson a factory ride. Ten Kate would be the best choice as only Hodgson has shown pace on the Blade. He would even be a better choice than Byrne on the Xerox.
