Sorry carl, But it was you who left the door open, therefore instigated the whole incident, And lets be honest, No one took you out in the second race affording you to show your worth,,,,,9Th and 31 seconds down, Its not all bad luck.

Really, does it matter anyway?
If Harris hadn't come off then, he would have crashed somewhere else.

2006 - 5th British Superbike Championship - on the all conquering full Factory Honda with MotoGP derived Michelin tyres.
5 podiums / 8 DNF's - Not really good enough considering the package he had - the best bike and best tyres.
222 points behind Kiyo on the same bike. Beaten in the Championship by Jonny Rea on a satellite UK built bike.

2007 - 11th British Superbike Championship - 8 DNF's, 1 podium

2008 - 9 DNF's from only 14 races. Good in qualifying but always fails to convert grid placing to a result.

He's a fast rider who doesn't finish enough races in a season to ever mount a serious challenge at this level. You might say he's unlucky but you make your own luck to some extent.

Has anyone read Shakey's comments on Monday? According to him his front wheel was in front!
It wasn't - that was obvious from the tv footage.
I expected better of Shakey: he's a great guy and a great racer, but on this occasion he was in the wrong. Anyone who has raced or spectated at Oulton knows that because of the camber at that corner many riders run out wide and then cut back. Shakey must have known what was likely to happen.
A racing incident yes, but caused by Shakey without a doubt.
