Alan, it s not the former Parts Ducati Team, it s the Boulder Ducati from COlorado, different dealer, different team. They re rumoured to be base in Riome next year and have a joint effort with Jakub Smrz s team.

I dont think Rob Mac will give a ****? He must have got help from yamaha uk to run his R6 cup. When he had a decent BSB set up he got all the good bits from the italian WBK outfit. When Haga joined the team the japanese took over and he stopped getting all of the last years got bits from the Italians

Seems a little strange... I suppose with the rules changing back to WSBK rules next year (modified con rods and pistons allowed again), the ducati could become very expensive to run again, like they were in the 999 days? I think Shakey needs to find a Ducati as he seems to struggle on anything thats not a twin (good old days of privateer suzukis accepted!). I hope there is a Ducati BSB team 'cos nothing beats the sound of a thumping big twin and a screaming 4 chasing each other! :)

Interesting - why doesn't Yamaha fully support a WSB team - I assume the Yamaha Italia team is semi-privateer. I wonder whether this is GSE's route to WSB. You know get the bikes working in BSB in 2009 and step up to WSB in 2010. Ducati probably aren't keen to fully support another team in WSB other than the Xerox team and hence GSE looked elsewhere.
