Hill back on top in warm-up

Tommy Hill resumed his place at the top of the timesheets during morning warm-up ahead of today's ViSK.com British Superbike Championship races at Mallory Park.

With cloudy conditions shrouding the Leicestershire circuit, Hill was able to edge out pole sitter Leon Camier by a few hundredths, the Suzuki and Yamaha pair proving the only riders to go below 57secs.

James Ellison followed his Airwaves team-mate in third, while Josh Brookes, who starts a lowly 17th for the races, lifted himself up to fourth on the HM Plant Honda.

Motorpoint/Henderson Yamaha pair Graeme Gowland and Chris Walker were fifth and sixth quickest, ahead of leading Cup competitor Gary Mason, while Simon Andrews, Richard Cooper and David Johnson rounded out the top ten.

The first race takes place at 13.00GMT.
