Both Chris Burns and Jentin Racing are to make a return to the MCE British Superbike Championship grid after announcing a deal ahead of the latest Brands Hatch round.

Burns was originally signed to compete with the STP-JHS MV Agusta team, but was released from his contract before he rode the bike after becoming frustrated with the time it was taking to get out on track.

Going on to compete in selected rounds of the German based IDM Superbike Championship, Burns will compete at Brands Hatch having already completed familiarisation laps at Donington Park this week.

The event will also signal the result of the Jentin team, who have been on the sidelines since Thruxton after splitting with rider Jon Kirkham.
