Camier fastest in morning warm-up

Leon Camier remains the rider to beat as race day for the latest round of the British Superbike Championship got underway, the Airwaves Yamaha rider topping morning warm-up.

Ensuring a clean sweep of all practice sessions and qualifying, Camier was six tenths faster than Stuart Easton at the end of the brief ten minute session ahead of the day's races.

Simon Andrews was third fastest having briefly topped the timesheets, followed James Ellison and Tommy Hill. Gary Mason continued to keep himself well in the hunt for a strong top ten finish in sixth, ahead of factory Honda rider Josh Brookes.

Julien Da Costa, Ian Lowry – who suffered a fall - and Sylvain Guintoli filled out the top ten, while Ryuichi Kiyonari's difficult weekend continued down in last place.
