British F1 Sidecars to continue with BSB in 2012
After a successful 2011 season, the Eastern Airways British F1 Sidecar Championship is set for an even bigger year in 2012 with news that it has now been made an official partner to the British Superbike Championship.

And with an additional round being held with the World Superbike Championship meeting at Donington Park, it promises to be a stellar season for the three-wheel class.

After being absent for a number of years, last year saw the British F1 Sidecar Championship line-up with the BSB programme at 4 meetings, but this is set to be doubled for 2012 with 8 rounds now scheduled as it becomes an official partner along with the Ducati 848 Challenge and Triumph Triple Challenge series'.

The eight BSB rounds will include the overseas trip to Assen, with the ninth being on the World stage at Donington Park in May, the first time since 2006 that a major Sidecar Championship as been held alongside a World Superbike meeting. This round will also be held over a longer, World Championship distance.

May 25/26/27 Snetterton (BSB)
June 22/23/24 Knockhill (BSB)
July 20/21/22 Brands Hatch GP (BSB)
September 7/8/9 Donington Park (BSB)
September 21/22/23 Assen (BSB)
September 28/29/30 Silverstone (BSB)
